Welcome to the BSYBL. Our goal is to help travel basketball players and coaches develop their abilities to successfully compete in game situations. We do this by providing travel teams with well-organized, competitive games against opponents of similar talent in a safe, fun environment.

We have chosen to initially focus on teams entering their first season of travel basketball. The transition from local in-town programs to competitive travel teams can be challenging for players and coaches alike. However, it has been found that teams with higher levels of competitive game experience during their first season of travel make that transition far more smoothly and successfully than others.
